Wieder ein schöner Tag! Und der Dom war nicht geschlossen. Aber so voll und die Schlange so lang, das wir diese Kunst nur von Außen betrachtet haben. Dafür haben wir uns eine Villa der Medici angesehen. Da waren wir schnell durch. Außer einem Schlachtenbild mit ein paar Zinnsoldaten gab es nicht viel zu sehen. Auch die Architektur war nicht besonders. Aber immerhin war es nicht heiß…
Abends schlendert wir nur noch durch die Altstadt und folgten einem Restauranttip aus dem Reiseführer. Er enttäuschte nicht.
Another beautiful day! And the cathedral was not closed. But so full and the queue so long that we only looked at this art from the outside. For that we looked at a Medici villa from the inside. There we were quickly through. Apart from a battle scene with a few tin soldiers there wasn’t much to see. Also the architecture was not special. But at least it wasn’t hot…
In the evening we just walked through the old town and followed a restaurant tip from the travel guide. It did not disappoint.
